Separator Replacement

I.             Notice

1.Before maintain and replace the air/oil separator, please stop the air compressor, cut off the main power, ensure no any pressure inside the air compressor, also please insure the operator operate it in a security condition.

2.Suggest you to test running the air compressor 2-3 times after maintenance and replacement, that can help you find the problems at once.

3. Please use Linghein original air/oil separator to ensure screw air compressor long-term and reliable operation

III.         Instruction

1. The regular replacement time of air/oil separator is 3000-4000 hours. Generally speaking, this replacement time depend on using enviroment condition.

2. The quality of air filter, oil filter, lubricating oil and the operation enviroment condition all effect air/oil separator using lifetime directly, so please use Linghein original spare parts and maintain them on time. Meanwhile, improve the air compressor running enviroment also good for all spare parts.

3. While replace the air/oil separator, please notice that whether the sealing gasket with metal nail, here the metal nail with a preventing electrostatic function to ensure proper grounding of the separator ,otherwise risk of static sparks may occur.

IV.        Method

1.    Cut off the air compressor main power, turn off the ball valve, ensure no pressure in the air compressor inner system.

2.    Screw off the oil return tube(thin tube) and exhaust tube(thick tube) which connect with the air tank cover(as image 1). And then loosen the connection between minimum pressure valve and air tube (as image 2).

3. Loosen the flange oil tank cover (as image 3), take up the cover and pull out the oil return tube and exhaust tube.

4. Take out the used air/oil separator, and then clean the rust of oil tank edge with knife.

5. Put in the new air/oil separator, please pay attention that we should put the gasket on the up edge and down edge of air/oil separator separately(as image 4), and notice whether two gaskets are parallel. Restore the oil return tube, exhaust tube and oil tank cover, at last fix all screw(as image 5).

6. While finish above operation, please set up the control panel, and then test running the air compressor 2-3 times.

V.          The Setting of Control Panel

The Air/oil separator regular replacement time is 4000 hours. Control panel will alarms automatically and reminds user to replace the air/oil separator. While finish replacement, please set up the control panel as below process:

Starting from Main display screen(as image 6), press  , then  and , to move the black scroll bar to the menu bar ”CUSTOMER PARAMETER/ USER PARA”(as image 7). Press , then  and , to move the black scroll bar to the menu bar to ”CLR LIFE TIME”(as image 8). Press , then  and , to move the black scroll bar to the menu bar to “O/A RESET”, here value is 4000H. Press , enter into password screen(as image 9), use  and  to input password ”xxxx”. (method: press  and  to input the first digit of password while the first digit is flashing, press , and the second digit flashes, then input the second digit, input the third and fourth digits in the same way.) Press  to confirm and save, then the screen returns automatically to the interface for parameter setting, at this time, the parameter “O/A RESET” can be set, press  and  to return 0（as image10） Press  to confirm and save. Press  continuously at the completion of setting to return to the main display screen.
